Hannah slept in so I left her a note with a list of chores to do and ran a couple of errands. I stopped in at school for a few minutes to talk with Abbie and grab some things for next week then went to the post office to check the mail. When I came back Hannah had done most of her chores so we took a quick drive back down to the ferry dock/town area and bought a "Tres Leche" cake Miriam baked last night to help support the local pre-school.
Upon our return home, we did some pretty exciting things, like organize, clean, and have lunch. Before I knew it, it was about six o'clock!! We had talked about maybe going to the beach, but it was so nice just not doing anything, we never made it there!
We haven't been watching television since we got here, but Hannah brought her "Lucy Show" dvds she got for Christmas and has memorized the script from most of the episodes. I thought it might be fun to expose her to another one of my favorite shows from that era: The Dick VanDyke Show. So I hopped on to NetFlix and browsed around a bit. Sure enough, it's available!!!

Thanks, God, for a day with no real agenda; a day of relaxing and unwinding; a day where we could just hang out and watch The Dick VanDyke Show!!
